What sets the MK18 apart from Daniel Defense’s other MSR platforms is the RIS II Bolt-Up picatinny quad Rail System, the same tested by and issued to members of USSOCOM.
The MK18 is built on a carbine length direct impingement gas system and features 10.5" free floated barrel. SBR models include Daniel Defense’s proprietary 6-position buttstock with over molding at contact points.
The 10.3 inch Cold Hammer Forged barrel is the same length in use for the MK18 upper most commonly used for CQB operations.
The independently ambi GRIP-N-RIP Charging Handle accommodates left- and right-handed shooters.
