The mount features a rugged force-to-overcome mechanism that allows users to instantly flip the thermal completely out of the sight line when running a day-only configuration. It comes standard with a built-in FAST QD Lever, enabling rapid transition between a weapon-mounted clip-on and a standalone handheld imager (HHI) while ensuring a reliable return-to-zero when reattached. For shooters leveraging a higher platform posture, the unit can be stacked directly on top of a FAST Accessory Riser to elevate the thermal to a 2.26-inch profile.
