The Vanward Felt / UL Heat Shield is a high-performance thermal sleeve developed specifically to insulate and fit the 42mm outer diameter framework of the Vanward Felt and Ultra Light series suppressors. Engineered in Norway using highly advanced, heat-resistant insulation materials originally adapted from the demanding oil and gas industry, this sleeve effectively kills optical heat mirage to maintain a crisp, uncompromised sight picture through high-magnification or thermal optics. The interior is lined with a proprietary high-temperature silicone coating that prevents the sleeve from slipping, sliding, or rotating under heavy recoil strings. While it acts as a reliable radiation shield to protect the operator from accidental contact burns, its high structural temperature threshold works alongside Vanward's grade 5 titanium suppressor build without posing any risk of trapping heat to the point of structural failure.
