In Hollywood, California in the 1950s, Armalite Inc. began as a small machine shop focused on producing small arms concepts. The first concept Armalite created was a lightweight survival rifle for downed aircrew. Today, Armalite has an incredibly knowledgeable staff. After many prototypes and even more ideas for improving firearms as we know it, Armalite has become an arms manufacturer.
